When I came back to the U.K I decided to try a new range of drug store haircare. I decided on the Aussie range as EVERYONE only ever has good things to say about it! I haven’t given up on Pantene’s Naturefusion range, but my hair was feeling a little dull after months of use. Superdrugs has offers on Pantene and Aussie, along with a few other major brands, so that also helped

To start with, I section my hair in 2. I take a very small amount of the Mega Shampoo ( I couldn’t find the Frizz one so I just chose this – sulphates are sulphates after all) and apply to my scalp only while standing under the shower. Smells really nice and sweet and my scalp definitely feels clean afterwards, so I’m happy!
I follow this up with 5 minutes of Megatek.
I then apply in total about half a bottle of Frizz Miracle Conditioner (Good job it’s on offer!).

Again, I love the smell! It looks and smells like bubblegum! Awesome! I leave this on for a few minutes and detangle with my wide tooth comb from the ends upwards. I have to admit, detangling doesn’t seem to difficult with this product as it seems to foam and thicken. The conditioner is definitely a winner for me!
After I wash the conditioner out, I apply a little more and step out of the shower. Then comes the Miracle Hair Insurance Leave In Conditioner.

This smells more subtle than the last two products. I find I usually use this product more on the second and third day to smooth and soften my hair. I wouldn’t say it makes detangling a breeze, as I usually do this in the shower. I do prefer using a thicker leave in for my hair, but overall, I think it is the perfect compliment to the conditioner, which is already quite thick.
Overall, I quite like this brand. It is perfect for detangling and softening my hair, and the price (ranging from £2 to £3 for each product) is a winner! When I can afford to get my hands on some lovely organic, sulphate, cone and alcohol free haircare, I will definitely have to see whether there is a major difference. I’m thinking of the Kinky Curly range specifically
